PROF. CLINTON AIGBAVBOA

Professor Clinton Aigbavboa obtained a Higher National Diploma (HND) degree in Quantity Surveying from the Federal Polytechnic, Auchi, Edo State Nigeria (1998), an MTech in Construction Management (2010) and a PhD in Engineering Management (2014) from the University of Johannesburg, South Africa. He has also completed a certificate course in Good Governance in Africa from the Thabo Mbeki Africa Leadership Institute at the University of South Africa (UNISA). He recently completed an Executive Program in Artificial Intelligence: Implications for Business Strategy from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) – Sloan School of Management.

During the past five years since his doctoral graduation, Prof. Aigbavboa has authored and co-authored more than 1000 accredited journal articles (ISI, IBSS, Scopus and DHET Indexed), conference papers, and book chapters. He is also the author of twenty-seven (27) research books published by Springer Nature, Emerald, Routledge and Elsevier publishers. In addition, he is also a co-author of twelve (12) edited books on the subject of the fourth industrial revolution and the construction industry development that were published by Springer Nature and Routledge publishers. He has successfully graduated over 180 Master’s students and 78 PhD students.

Prof Aigbavboa is currently a visiting professor in the College of Arts, Technology and Environment, University of West of England, Bristol, UK, visiting professor in the School of Civil Engineering of the Shandong University, China, visiting professor in the Department of Civil Engineering of the University of Nigeria, Nsukka, visiting professor in the Department of Quantity Surveying of the Federal University of Technology, Futa, Akure, Nigeria, and an International Visiting scholar in the Department of Architecture of the Covenant University, Nigeria.
